Knockdown Texture
Knockdown texture is a process that uses a hopper gun, steel squeegee and air compressor that are made specifically for this application. We use a polymer modified cement, and have years of experience with the products and surface that we apply this texture on. Knockdown texture has to dry overnight. The process continues the next day with the scraping of excess polymer and modification of the cement if necessary. Then the cement has to be sealed with either clear or colored sealer. We use heavy traffic commercial grade sealers for this process.
Cool Decking
“Cool Decking” is a process that involves spraying a cement-polymer overlay that comes in lighter colors, that will act as a reflectance to the heat. This process also has an “orange peel” texture that creates air pockets that will work to keep the surface of the concrete cooler underfoot.
Acid Stain
The process of “Acid Staining” creates detailed variations of color onto concrete by a chemical reaction with the minerals that are in the concrete. It is important to remember that each concrete floor will react with its own unique pattern. Once the acid stain is sealed with a clear sealer, your patio will pop with a unique look.
Polishing Concrete
Polished concrete is concrete that has been treated through a chemical densifying proccess and ground with finer grinding tools. The grinding tools are usually progressive grits of diamond grinding cup wheels and diamond polishing pads. This will allow your surface to be smooth and shiny.
Stamped Concrete Overlay
Stamped overlay is a unique process that allows for all the aesthetic benefits of conventional stamped concrete but is applied overtop existing concrete. Stamped concrete overlays is a way to duplicate the design and texture of natural stone, brick, etc. and other materials without having to replace your existing concrete.
Concrete Overlay
Stamped concrete is concrete that is patterned and/or textured or embossed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood, and various other patterns and textures. Stamped concrete is commonly used for patios, sidewalks, driveways, pool decks, and interior flooring.
